This one deserves saving! You may think this doesn’t happen to you…. Until you face burnout and realize you were living in chronic survival stress the entire time, it just FELT normal to you. And if you’re being triggered all the time, your response is going to be from subconscious programming — which is default, and does not require your participation. So you may think you are in control, when in reality your programming is running the show. Super interesting to delve into!
Also known as hyper vigilance. The irony is it serves you in many ways, so you don’t realize how damaging it is for your system. Living in constant threat detection is exhausting. And it isn’t necessary anymore. Make sure you remind yourself of that! ❤️

Hi friends! I’m looking to find something soon, my medical bills have been adding up. Ideally I’m wanting something that is medium to low stress (so I can continue working on my nervous system regulation), has some flexibility (because I have two young kiddos), where I can make at least enough to cover my living expenses. 🙏 Degree from UCLA and lots of experience in several areas. I think I’d be a nice addition to any company, I love helping people! I appreciate you all so much, thank you in advance for thinking of me! ❤️

I’m starting to see how people are in their own worlds, checked out, distracted, and tense when driving. It used to be the occasional person, and now it seems like it’s the rule not the exception. Today’s culture is taking a toll on people in so many ways. Going slowly in the carpool lane and constant brakers are my least favorite. 👎👎
Read this one out loud, a few times. (And men, this is true for you too). We have ALL been shaped by our trauma, our challenging life experiences, difficult or hurtful relationships with others, our loss, rejection, and betrayals. Our body protected us by creating a version of us to be able to survive it. But we don’t have to stay there. Cuz that’s not actually who we are at our core. Who we are is the baby born on Day 1, before life and others started conditioning us. The goal is to get back to THAT person. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who showed up last night and who allowed me to share my story of struggle and my journey toward rebalancing. I truly believe we will have an epidemic of nervous system dysregulation in the next decade, and we need to get out ahead of this thing. It was wonderful meeting new people and hearing wise words from @drbobsears @zachbushmd and @drbillydemoss.

“Fighting” for freedom needs to be balanced with tending to our own health. The masculine needs to be in balance with the feminine, or you will shift out of alignment. Our bodies pay the price when we don’t listen. Do yourself a favor and search nervous system regulation on IG and find some cool people to follow. Listen to their content, practice their exercises, read comments of other people learning about this too. You will not regret this investment into your true health.
