This hits home. For me it was my biological father. What about you?
This makes me happy. ❤️
Okay, now this one had me laughing out loud. The text on the page of the book…. 😂😂
I’m going to attempt to see it this way…. But right now 2022 has a 1 star rating - would not recommend! 😂😂

Looking into getting one, but it needs to be great! 🙏
I go back and forth on this. On one hand I think it’s good to be transparent and show your children the reality of life and how we cope emotionally. On the other, we want to shield them from the seriousness of struggles and allow them to live in innocence for as long as possible. Is there an in between?
How many of us have learned that we have to DO something in order to receive love? People pleasing, overachieving, and giving more than we receive in relationships are all signs of this pattern. It all comes from childhood, whether intentional or not. If we have to DO something to be loved, what happens when we can’t DO as much or in the case of a health issue, can’t do at all? Are we then not worthy of still being loved? We cannot maintain that belief system because it leads to loneliness and grief. As children of the divine, we are all worthy of love, just because of who we are, not what we do.
