I also break down a great article (How the Government Sells Fear and Sickness: The Case of the Flu) from Barry Brownstein, professor of economics at the University of Baltimore. He discusses the flu vaccine campaign, how it’s aggressively marketed, and how it’s based on very weak, even non-existent, science. Brownstein supports his findings with data from Peter Doshi and epidemiologist and Dr. Tom Jefferson.
