Have you been here too?
👀🙋🏻‍♀️☠️😵😵‍💫🫣😂
How often are you too hard on yourself? Are you compassionate with yourself? Remember the majority of the choices we make and actions we take come from a place of pain and protection. Can we be easy on ourselves for falling into patterns again even if we know they are destructive? Can we try to understand more of WHY we do what we do, and how we can maybe adjust our approach to get a different outcome—one that doesn’t hurt us anymore? Love yourself for taking steps every day to get through it all. Life isn’t easy. The last thing we need is to add fuel to the fire by beating ourselves up too. 💘

I know someone needs to hear this message today….

💞💞💞
When “me too” (far right) is actually you! So funny to see this old drawing. I’m there! 😂😂🙌🙌
“The Body Keeps the Score” is a book everyone should read. It’s all about our connection to other mammals and how we are biologically designed to process and discharge emotional stress and trauma.

The challenge is we aren’t doing it.

So it gets suppressed, pushed down, and stored in the body, causing chronic pain and illness. If we learn how to tune back in to our design, we can ride the various states of the nervous system waves without getting stuck in any of them.

Do yourself a favor, and get this book to add this understanding to your arsenal of self care. Your body will thank you. 🙌
Anyone else have a terrible poker face and the inability to hide your actual feelings (even if you wish you could??). 😂😂
It’s true though. 💁🏻‍♀️
Feeling nostalgic…. 🤪
This is such a powerful message. I hate to admit I was really not someone who gave myself much love. I gave myself some praise regarding things I worked really hard on, but even then I was so critical of everything I did, praise wasn’t free flowing. I believed it was wrong to praise yourself — it was selfish, arrogant, etc. I thought the only LOVE and praise (and compassion) we received should come from other people. Yikes, I definitely was practicing the wrong beliefs.

Outsourcing your love means you only get it when they choose to give it to you. You are at their mercy. And if and when they don’t give it to you, you believe the story that you must not be worthy of love.

Don’t fall into this trap, don’t make the same mistakes I did. Love yourself! Don’t wait for anyone else to. You know how you need to be loved best, and you can always provide it when you need it. You are worthy of love, just as you are. Don’t forget that. ♥️♥️♥️
